To regain a sense of my own visual language  after years of commercial activity, I illustrated songs. Consciously perceiving layers of audio information, expression and meaning, helped me to graphically interpret my 'sound vision' using colour, symbolism, typography and composition. Writing about my process helped me clarify my intention, my listening experience and expression.
